Whistler, BC – The recent snowfall has enabled Whistler Olympic Park to open more trails, and with that, the locals’ favourite Wednesday Nights will start this week (December 12) as planned. For now, conditions remain marginal on rolled compacted snow, and only cross country skiing is available (no trackset for classic yet). Dog-friendly trails, snowshoeing and tobogganing are not available yet and will be offered once more natural snow accumulates.
Guests are encouraged to check the Trail Conditions web page for daily updates on available terrain and activities.
From 3:00pm until 9:00pm on Wednesdays, all trail tickets are only $7 per person. Ski rentals are $7/person as well. New on Wednesday Nights this year are 55-minutes Starter Lessons, that teach participants the basic technique for classic or skate skiing. The lessons are for ages 13+ and can be booked in advance or on site.
Guests can warm up in the Day Lodge with Wednesday specials on meals and beverages in the fully licensed café, offered by Whistler Cooks, or connect around the outdoor bonfire area.
