The Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC) is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain. Home to Olympic sport, high-performance training and public sliding experiences, WSC offers guests the opportunity to slide like an Olympian with no experience required.

We are currently hiring Track Medical Responders / Guest Service Hosts for the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program. This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining first aid response, guest service, venue operations and summer program delivery in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Job Overview
Position: Track Medical Responder / Guest Service Host, Summer
Department: Whistler Sliding Centre
Status: Seasonal, Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual 
Housing: Guaranteed staff housing for Full-Time employees
Schedule: Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Location: Whistler, BC
Wage: $24.50–$28 per hour
Start Date: June 3, 2026

What You’ll Do

  • Provide first aid response and accident site control in accordance with established procedures and protocols
  • Support venue safety operations and participate in emergency response training scenarios
  • Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program
  • Assist guests with registration, waivers, equipment fitting and safety presentations
  • Support guest loading and unloading procedures alongside pilots and operations staff
  • Maintain radio communication with Control Tower and operational teams
  • Assist with venue upkeep including light maintenance, grounds support and operational setup
  • Process bookings, guest inquiries and point-of-sale transactions
  • Support events, rentals and other operational activities as needed
  • Contribute to a strong culture of safety, teamwork and professionalism
  • Carry out Whistler Sport Legacies’ customer service philosophy: AIM – All Interactions Matter

What You Bring

  • Current OFA Level 3 or equivalent certification (such as Canadian National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care)
  • Previous first aid attendant or emergency response experience
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Previous guest service experience considered an asset
  • Knowledge of sliding sports or the Whistler Sliding Centre considered an asset

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 70 lbs
