The Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC) is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain. Home to Olympic sport, high-performance training and public sliding experiences, WSC offers guests the opportunity to slide like an Olympian with no experience required.
We are currently hiring Track Medical Responders / Guest Service Hosts for the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program. This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining first aid response, guest service, venue operations and summer program delivery in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Job Overview
Position: Track Medical Responder / Guest Service Host, Summer
Department: Whistler Sliding Centre
Status: Seasonal, Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual
Housing: Guaranteed staff housing for Full-Time employees
Schedule: Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Location: Whistler, BC
Wage: $24.50–$28 per hour
Start Date: June 3, 2026
What You’ll Do
- Provide first aid response and accident site control in accordance with established procedures and protocols
- Support venue safety operations and participate in emergency response training scenarios
- Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program
- Assist guests with registration, waivers, equipment fitting and safety presentations
- Support guest loading and unloading procedures alongside pilots and operations staff
- Maintain radio communication with Control Tower and operational teams
- Assist with venue upkeep including light maintenance, grounds support and operational setup
- Process bookings, guest inquiries and point-of-sale transactions
- Support events, rentals and other operational activities as needed
- Contribute to a strong culture of safety, teamwork and professionalism

What You Bring
- Current OFA Level 3 or equivalent certification (such as Canadian National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care)
- Previous first aid attendant or emergency response experience
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Previous guest service experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of sliding sports or the Whistler Sliding Centre considered an asset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to regularly lift up to 70 lbs
