Whistler Olympic Park (WOP) is a world-class Nordic sport and recreation venue located in the beautiful Callaghan Valley, just south of Whistler. Home to Olympic legacy facilities, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, biathlon and a variety of recreational programs, WOP welcomes athletes, families, school groups and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the winter season.
We are currently hiring Guest Services Representatives to join our winter team. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you’ll help people make the most of their day at the Park by providing information, processing tickets and bookings, assisting with rentals and retail, and delivering friendly and knowledgeable service. Job Overview
Position: Guest Services Representative
Department: Whistler Olympic Park – Guest Services
Status: Temporary Full-Time
Housing: Affordable staff housing available for Full-Time employees
Schedule: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays
Location: Whistler Olympic Park, Callaghan Valley
Wage: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour per hour based on experience
Start Date: November 16, 2026
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, knowledgeable service throughout their visit.
- Help guests select and purchase products and services including day tickets, season passes, rentals, retail products and instructional programs.
- Respond to in-person, telephone, email and online inquiries.
- Assist with bookings and coordinate information with rental, Sport School and other front-line teams.
- Process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Complete accurate cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Respond to guest questions and concerns with empathy and a focus on finding solutions.
- Support the operation of the rental and retail shop when required.
- Develop strong knowledge of WOP products, programs and services so you can confidently assist guests.
- Help maintain Guest Services areas, equipment, displays and current snow, trail and avalanche information.
- Help maintain appropriate retail and rental inventory.
- Support special events and other operational requirements, including snow clearing, as needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers across the venue.

What You Bring
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Accurate cash handling and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- A positive, approachable and can-do attitude.
- Ability to remain composed and solution-focused in challenging situations.
- Computer skills; experience with scheduling and booking software is preferred.
- POS system experience is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous retail, merchandising or ski rental experience is an asset.
- Knowledge or appreciation of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, biathlon, ski jumping or sport and recreation operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Whistler and the surrounding area is an asset.
- A willingness to support other teams and operational areas when needed.
- A genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in variable winter weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable winter transportation is required, as Whistler Olympic Park is not serviced by public transit.
