Whistler, BC: Ski Callaghan’s regular season ends on Sunday, April 2, but with the amount of snow both in the valley and on higher elevations, there will be two bonus weekends in April!

The joint trail system of Whistler Olympic Park and Callaghan Country Wilderness Adventures will be open for skiing and snowshoeing on April 8 & 9 and on April 15 & 16 from 8:30am to 4:30pm with access through the gate at the Callaghan Country entrance. Close to 40km of cross-country ski and more than 10 km of snowshoe trails, including dog-friendly options will be available. Rental equipment will be offered at Callaghan Country’s Alexander Falls Touring Centre. The additional weekends apply to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing only (tobogganing, baseboarding, biathlon and fat biking will not be available).

All Ski Callaghan season passes are valid for these bonus dates, guests without a season pass can access the trails at reduced day rates (cross-country skiing: $20.00 adults/seniors, $12.50 youth; snowshoeing: $12.50 adults/seniors, $7.50 youth; dogs $5.00).

Visitors are asked to check the trail conditions website, or check in with Guest Services at the Callaghan Country base upon arrival.

Additionally, Callaghan Country’s Alexander Falls Touring Centre and Journeyman Lodge is scheduled to stay open Fridays to Tuesdays until April 18.
