Whistler Sliding Centre
The Whistler Sliding Centre is located on Blackcomb Mountain, just minutes above Whistler Village. It was the site for bobsleigh, skeleton and luge for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Today, while still being a high-performance sport facility, the legacy venue also offers exciting and unique experiences for groups to enjoy year-round. Surrounded by stunning mountain and valley views, the venue boasts excellent rental spaces to host your group while taking in the excitement of the 1,450-metre track. Corporate and group sliding experiences can be tailored to your specific needs and could also include a private catered event to accompany your sliding experience. Challenge your group by sending them down the fastest track in the world in a bobsleigh with a trained pilot, or have them slide head first on a skeleton sled for an experience they will never forget.

Winter Bobsleigh Experience
Sample Itinerary winter bobsleigh, activity duration dependent on group size:
- Check-in at Guest Services
- Orientation followed by an introduction to the sport and assignment of teams
- Transport to corner 7 for a safety briefing and helmet fitting
- Load into the sled with your team and one of our trained pilots.
- Take one run down the track reaching speeds of up to 125km/h
- Get a photo with your pilot at the finish dock
- Transport back to guest services to pick up your complimentary certificates of completion
Winter Skeleton Experience
Sample Itinerary Skeleton, activity duration dependent on group size:
- Check-in at Guest Services
- Orientation, safety briefing, a sliding session walk-through and track etiquette followed by helmet fitting
- Walk up to the Maple Leaf Start (Corner 11)
- Additional tips on how to position yourself on the sled and address any final questions
- Slide down head-first through 6 corners of the fastest track in the world reaching speeds of up to 100km/hr
- At the finish, our track crew will assist you with getting off the sled
- Walk towards the main finish dock to take a photo and then head back over to the Maple Leaf Start to prepare for your 2nd run
- Once 2nd run is completed, head back down to Guest Services to collect your certificate of completion

Summer Bobsleigh Experience – on wheels
Sample Itinerary Summer Bobsleigh, activity duration dependent on group size:
- Check-in at Guest Services
- Orientation followed by an introduction to the sport and assignment of teams
- Transport to the very top of the track
- Informative track walk from the top to Corner 7
- Safety orientation followed by helmet fitting
- Load into the sled with your team and one of our trained pilots.
- Take one run down the track reaching speeds of 90km/h
- Get a photo with your pilot at the tent and then head back to guest services to pick up your certificate of completion

Whistler Olympic Park
Whistler Olympic Park is located in the Callaghan Valley about 20 kilometres south of Whistler Village. It was the site for ski jumping, Nordic combined, biathlon and cross-country skiing for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Inspire your group to feel like an Olympian while they learn the skills of rifle marksmanship with Biathlon or get their heart rates up with cross-country skiing or snowshoeing! Group/Team Building Activities at Whistler Olympic Park include:

Sample Itinerary Biathlon (Winter), activity duration dependent on group size:
- Check-in at the biathlon range
- Introduction to the sport and the venue followed by orientation and rifle safety
- Practice shooting at the Olympic targets
- Group will then split into teams and heats to participate in a biathlon race on snowshoes or cross-country skis. Participants will snowshoe/ski through the designated course until they get to their designated shooting lane. They will then take 5 shots at the targets and race through the rest of the course toward the finish line. Every missed shot at the targets results in an additional lap around our penalty loop before the participant can head towards the finish line.
- Our scorekeeper will record times for the first heat and then have the second heat get ready for their start
- The race continues until all heats have participated
- The scores are then added and winning teams announced
