Welcome to the Whistler Sliding Centre!

Located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Sliding Centre is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility.

Today, winter visitors can tick passenger bobsleigh or public skeleton off their bucket lists in the public sessions. The venue is also home to the BC Sliding Development Centre, which offers "Learn to Slide" programming for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge. It is a National Training Centre and training venue for athletes from all over the world. The venue regularly hosts races for all levels from beginners to the elite of sliding athletes, such as World Cups and World Championships. In summer, guests can participate in bobsleigh rides on wheels. Year-round, Olympic Sightseeing is available free of charge through a self-guided interpretive tour.

The Whistler Sliding Centre is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds from public programs go directly towards growing sport and supporting bobsleigh, skeleton and luge athletes!

Welcome to our winter season 2020/21!

Come and watch our athletes slide! Spectator entry is FREE. Spectators can access the track's public areas during sliding times (except on stat holidays) - see this week's schedule below! The Guest Services building is open from 9:00am to 6:00pm daily.

Track Schedule (subject to change):

Do not forget to grab a map (available just outside guest services) and take a self-guided tour along the interpretive walk and learn about the track, its operation, our legacy and our athletes!

Please choose footwear according to weather/winter conditions as walkways may be slippery. The public areas are stroller/wheelchair friendly (snow dependent).

For any questions or to confirm the most up to date sliding times, please contact Guest Services (phone 604-964-0040 or email).
