Discover Skeleton
Young participants can get a taste of the Olympic winter sport of skeleton by sliding down the track on their own sled!
Join us at the Whistler Sliding Centre for this 2 hour introductory sliding session, where a qualified coach will take you through the skills and techniques needed to become a skeleton athlete (read more about our coaches here). After a brief orientation, you will walk the track and be fitted with a sled. With guidance from the coach, you will take your first two runs from the Maple Leaf start (1/3 of the way up the track), reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h on the Olympic track!
