Our Public Bobsleigh Program is an activity for your 'bucket list' – and now you can do it in the summer! All it takes is a bobsleigh equipped with wheels, a trained pilot and four enthusiastic passengers. Going through 10 corners, including the famous Thunderbird Corner, your “Rolling Thunder” team will reach speeds of up to 80 km/hr. But don’t worry, you’ll be provided with a safety orientation that also includes the history of the Whistler Sliding Centre as a 2010 Olympic Winter Games venue. Summer bobsleigh runs rain or shine, so it’s the perfect addition to your time in Whistler. “Rolling Thunder” is offered five days a week (closed Tuesday/Wednesday) from June 27 to September 6, 2015.
