Cross Country Skiing

Whether it is your first time or you are an avid skier, get inspired by Whistler Olympic Park's glorious history and its breathtaking views and strap on cross country skis! A day ticket or season pass provides access to close to 90 kilometres of trails for all abilities. Available again in winter 2021/22.

A wonderful introduction to winter, snowshoeing is an activity that is suitable for the whole family, from children to grandparents! Over 30 kilometres of marked snowshoe trails, including dog-friendly options, weave between beautiful views and Olympic monuments. Available again in winter 2021/22.

Biathlon

Ski fast, shoot straight. The exhilaration of cross country skiing combined with the marksmanship of target shooting, that’s what the Olympic sport of biathlon is all about. Experience it for yourself with one of our unique biathlon lessons! Available again in winter 2021/22.

Summer Bobsleigh

Ride a bobsleigh equipped with wheels, driven by a trained pilot, to reach speeds of up to 90km/hr. No experience required! Youth 12-18 years slide FREE. Available from June 30 to September 5, 2021.

Multi-Sport Summer Camp

Children and youth ages 6-12 can join this active summer camp! Sample two new sports each day under the guidance of experienced coaches, learn new skills and have fun! Adaptive sport options are available. Two camp weeks will be offered in July and August 2021.

Passenger Bobsleigh

Slide like an Olympian, no experience required! Ride through ten twists and turns at speeds of 125+ km/hr in a real bobsleigh, driven by a trained pilot, on the only active sliding track in Canada.

Public Skeleton

Ride solo on your own skeleton sled, no experience required! You will slide through six corners and clock speeds up to 100 km/hr. Don’t worry that your run might be over too fast, you get to go twice!

Seasonal Novice Luge Program

Children and youth (ages 8+) that want to pick up luge as a weekly activity can sign up for the Seasonal Novice Luge Program. Participants can train one to four times per week. Consistent coaching support ensures progression and skill development. Available from October to March.

This one-session introductory sport program lets young participants (14+ years) get a taste of the Olympic winter sport of skeleton by sliding down the track on their own sled!

Youth and adults (14+) that want to acquire the in-depth skills needed to race on a skeleton sled can enroll in one of these multi-session programs which combine classroom with on-ice sessions. Available in the winter season.
