Youth Programs
Whistler Sport Legacies offers affordable, quality and fun programming with expert coaches, for children and youth of all skill levels to participate in exciting sports. Programs include sliding and Nordic sports as well as multi-sport options, varying from one-time sessions to introduce participants to new sports, over one- or multi-day camps to weekly/seasonal programs. Depending on the discipline, programs are held either at the Whistler Sliding Centre, at Whistler Olympic Park, the Whistler Athletes’ Centre or at third-party locations in Whistler.

DANCEPL3Y™ Preschool
Introduce your child to dance in a fun and playful way! The DANCEPL3Y™ (dance-play) Preschool program focuses on the development of physical literacy and fundamental movement skills and lets children explore a variety of dance genres through imaginative and engaging story lines.

DANCEPL3Y™ Kids
DANCEPL3Y™ Kids is a new physical activity program for ages 5-8 that “plays” with dance in a unique and innovative way. Your kids will love learning simple moves from a variety of styles: Hip Hop, Urban, Ballroom, Bollywood, Lyrical, Jazz/Funk as they get interACTIVE with dance.

"PLAYtots" Physical Literacy Program
The goal of the multi-week PLAYtots program is to expose your toddler (1-3 years) to the Fundamental Movement Skills to develop a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.

Active After School Club
After school care combined with sport and games that prepare kids for life long participation in physical activities. Available for Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, at Ecole Spring Creek Community School.

Multi-Sport Summer Camp
Children and youth ages 6-12 can join this active summer camp! Sample new sports each day under the guidance of experienced coaches, learn new skills and have fun! Adaptive options are available. Camps will be offered in July & August 2023!

Freestyle Ski & Multi-Sport Summer Camp
From August 8 to 11, 2023, Whistler Sport Legacies partners with Freestyle Whistler to offer a new and exciting summer camp for 10 to 15 year-olds, featuring daily freestyle training on the water ramps plus multi-sport activities! No experience required.

Youth Strength and Conditioning
This multi-week program is suitable for all youth in grades 6-9 from all sports who want to improve their strength, endurance, power, agility, flexibility, teamwork, coordination and balance!

Olympic Mondays Multi-Sport Camp
On five amazing Mondays, kids (grades 4-7) will get introduced to not one but many Olympic sports, such as biathlon, luge, gymnastics, snowboard, freestyle ski, cross-country skiing and ski jumping!

Youth Winter & Spring Break Camps
Our Winter & Spring Break Camps give youth participants (ages 8-12) a taste of the Nordic ski disciplines! Supervised by our qualified instructors, activities will include cross-country skiing, biathlon, snowshoeing, orienteering, cooperative games & more!

Pro-D Day Multi-Sport Camps
Looking for a fun way to spend Pro-D Days? Kids in grades 2-6 can now sign up for full-day camps, and get introduced to many different sports!

Discover Luge
This one-session introductory sport program lets children and youth (ages 8-14) get a taste of the Olympic winter sport of luge by sliding down the track on their own sled!

Seasonal Novice Luge Program
Children and youth (ages 10+) that want to pick up luge as a weekly activity can sign up for the Seasonal Novice Luge Program. Participants can train one to four times per week. Consistent coaching support ensures progression and skill development. Available from November to March.

Development Luge Program
This program is open for youth (ages 13-14) that want to progress in the sport of luge. The program is designed as a full-year curriculum, with up to five coached training sessions per week through the winter season and a summer training component.

Discover Skeleton
This one-session introductory sport program lets young participants get a taste of the Olympic winter sport of skeleton by sliding down the track on their own sled!

Skeleton Foundation Schools
Youth and adults (14+) that want to acquire the in-depth skills needed to race on a skeleton sled can enroll in one of these multi-session programs which combine classroom with on-ice sessions. Available in the winter season.

Skeleton Progression Camps
Youth and adults ages 14 and up who have successfully completed a Skeleton Foundation School (or equivalent), and who want to progress further in the sport of skeleton can participate in the Skeleton Progression Camps. Available in the winter season.

Bobsleigh Foundation School
Youth and adults (16+) that want to acquire the basic skills to pilot their own bobsleigh can enroll in one of these multi-day programs which combine classroom with on-ice sessions. Available in the winter season.

Bobsleigh Pilot Development Program
Youth and adults ages 16 and up who have successfully completed a Bobsleigh Foundation School (or equivalent), or who are brakemen and want to progress further in the sport of bobsleigh can join the Bobsleigh Pilot Development Program. Available in the winter season.
