Bobsleigh & Skeleton Packages for International Athletes

International sliding athletes are welcome to join our bobsleigh & skeleton foundation schools and progression camps! Learn to slide and progress with an inspiring group of athletes and coaches, and benefit from top level training on the world's fastest track.

Our packages for international athletes include all coaching, sport equipment rentals and affordable accommodation at the Whistler Athletes' Centre.

Bobsleigh / Skeleton Foundation Schools & Accommodation

Accommodation International athlete packages include accommodation at the Whistler Athletes' Centre (meal plans available at additional cost)

  • Skeleton Foundation School: $943.60
  • Bobsleigh Foundation School: $1,093.60

Includes: All coaching, sport equipment rentals & 4 nights accommodation at the Whistler Athletes' Centre (single room, other room options/additional nights available)

Not included: Travel costs such as flights, visas, airport transfers, travel between accommodation and training venue, insurance

 

Bobsleigh / Skeleton Progression Camps & Accommodation
Athlete Level For intermediate/ experienced athletes who have completed a Foundation School/equivalent. Foundation School graduates can join Progression Camps immediately following their school. For bobsleigh, both pilots and brakemen can participate.
Camp Details
  • Multi-day camps include on-ice coaching, strength & conditioning sessions and equipment education
  • Opportunity to participate in provincial and national competitions
  • Camps are offered multiple times/season; athletes can participate in one, some or all camps

Cost

Skeleton: $2,045.80 per camp (athletes can participate in one, multiple or all camps)

Icetime bookings for international teams/athletes

International teams/athletes who are members of the International Luge Federation (FIL) or International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) wanting to book icetime at the Whistler Sliding Centre should email us their inquiry/training request.
