Ski Callaghan to re-open Wednesday, February 11, after 4-day closure caused by intense rainfall

Whistler, BC: Ski Callaghan will re-open its trails for the public again on Wednesday, February 11, and operate in normal opening hours, including night skiing on Wednesdays until 9:00pm.

Intense rainfall in the past week had forced the joint venture between Whistler Olympic Park and Callaghan Country Wilderness Adventures to pause operations for four days over the BC Family Day long weekend.

Grooming and trail preparation started again today/Tuesday. Cross-country skiing will be available in the Biathlon/Cross-country area of Whistler Olympic Park, dog skiing is possible on Porter’s Glide. More ski trails are expected to open in the next days. Snowshoeing is available on limited terrain. Tobogganing and fatbiking are not possible at this point.

Guests are advised to check the daily trail updates.
