Jarod Algra


Born April 28, 1997 in Lethbridge, Alberta

His first biathlon season was 2011/2012 when he started with the Air Cadets, after that he joined the West Coast Nordics. Things he loves most about his sport are the excitement of competitions and the unpredicatbility of biathlon. His big goal is to compete in the 2018 Junior World Championships, and he is on a good way to that with a third place at the NorAms 2015/2016 and a sixth place in the Canadian Championships 2016. Jarod's big goal is to ski in Finland and Norway, and his determination might bring him there soon!

Bobby Kreitz


Born October 22, 1998 in Prince George, BC

Bobby started with the sport of biathlon in 2011 with the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, just after the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. He competed at the Canada Winter Games in 2015 and achieved top ten results at the National Championships 2015 and 2016. Bobby recently qualified for and competed in the 2017 IBU Youth/Junior World Championships. He loves biathlon for all the friends he has made through it, and for how it has helped him grow as a person. The dedicated athlete's biggest goal is to race for Canada internationally against his biathlon idols. Apart from skiing, Bobby loves mountain biking and chocolate chip cookies.

Colton MacDougall


Born August 13, 1997 in Vancouver, BC

Colton started the sport of biathlon in 2010 in Prince George, BC and went through the development program of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club. His biggest successes were the BC Championships 2014 and a third place in the National Relay 2015. When he does not ski or shoot, he likes to go exploring and, just like in his sport, pushing himself to the edge.

Angus Tweedie


Born May 14, 1997 in Smithers, BC

Angus tried biathlon for the first time at a club event in Smithers in 2006. His biggest achievements so far are three gold medals at the BC Winter Games in Vernon 2012 and three top ten results at the National Championships in Charlo, NB in 2014. Angus loves the outdoors and never travels without his camera. One of his biggest hobbies is crafting, which he combines with his passion, biathlon: All by himself, he did a complete rebuild of his rifle stock to modify it.



Etienne Letondeur

Head Coach

Etienne has been involved in Nordic Sports his whole life. Growing up in one of France’s #1 biathlon areas, in a family involved in the sports and with Nordic trails going through his backyard, he stood on skis the first time when he was 17 months old. Since then he has been connected to the sports competitively both as athlete and coach, on the business side as sales and race service representative for ski brands, and as a technical advisor, volunteer and association member to foster sport development.

Etienne Letondeur has been WNDC Head Coach since 2016.
