Tuesday, August 28, 2012

Whistler, BC: Whistler Sport Legacies (WSL) and Callaghan Country Wilderness Adventures (CCWA) are pleased to announce a Joint Venture Agreement under the name “Ski Callaghan”. This agreement was reached through WSL and CCWA’s mutual belief that it is in the best interest of visitors to the Callaghan Valley to provide a seamless Nordic product.

The Joint Venture was established to provide the convenience of a single “Ski Callaghan” ski pass to customers, allowing them access to the combined trail system of the CCWA and WOP ski areas as though they were one ski area. This one pass will provide guests with access to a combined total of 87 kms of groomed ski and 33.5 kms of snowshoe trails. Ski Callaghan products include season passes and day passes for recreational use of the trail systems, including cross country skiing, light touring, backcountry skiing, and snow shoeing.

Ski Callaghan is well positioned to become North America’s #1 Nordic ski destination. Pricing for 2012-2013 Adult early bird season passes will be $250.00 and day passes will be $22.00, consistent with 2011-2012 rates. Passes go on sale September 15th and may be purchased online.
