Whistler Olympic Park - Seasonal Volunteer Ambassadors

If you like Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, or just enjoy being outdoors, please consider volunteering next winter! Come back to this page to find out more about our volunteer program for the 2018-19 winter season, and how you can connect with and contribute to our local Sea to Sky Nordic Community and the unique Whistler Olympic Park guest experience.  Volunteer recruiting will begin in September, 2018 and more details will be available at that time.

Volunteer Ambassador Appreciation

Whistler Sliding Centre - Event Volunteers

Passionate about adrenaline fueled sports? Love being close to the action? Come Volunteer at the Whistler Sliding Center!

The Whistler Sliding Centre is regularly hosting sliding events, ranging from local/provincial races to international World Cup weekends, featuring the world's best athletes in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge. In 2019, the Whistler Sliding Centre will even host the Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Championships!

These events would not be possible without passionate volunteers. Be part of the action, join us today!

Volunteer positions include for example:

  • VIP Host – Greeting our VIP guests upon arrival and ensuring that they have the best experience possible. 
  • Spectator Hosts – Providing front line information and guidance for our valued spectators. 
  • Access Control – Responsible for checking accreditations at various points within the venue
  • Officials Assistant – Helping officials at the start docks and finish area
  • Doping Chaperon – Assisting with doping protocol.
  • Sliding Officials - Helping facilitate the races from the sports side of things (officials certification courses will be held in fall)
