Instructional Facilities
Whistler Olympic Park features 5 excellent instructional facilities. Each site is close to shelter and washrooms and can be adapted to meet the needs of each instructional group. Our primary instructional area is located adjacent to the Day Lodge and rental shop on flat terrain with beginner slopes nearby.
Sport Facilities
Whistler Olympic Park was created for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games and is fortunate to now have 3 world class training and competition venues. Today the Park is recognized as National Training Centre for Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined and home of the Whistler Nordic Development Centre, a year-round, full-time training hub for Nordic development athletes. Recently, 20 and 40 meter junior ski jumps have been constructed as training facility to introduce skiers to ski jumping. Local and national sport organizations are developing biathlon, cross-country, ski jumping and Nordic combined athletes using the top class facilities. Whistler Olympic Park also offers a number of youth programs and camps to introduce children and youth to Nordic winter sports.
Ski Play Zone
The gentle slope with a series of snow features and obstacles is designed to help children – and also ‘big kids’ – gain confidence on these features and develop balance, coordination and skills.
Event Venue
Whistler Olympic Park is venue for around 15 events throughout the winter season, ranging from grassroots level competitions to top-level events like National Championships in all Nordic disciplines. In the summer season, the Park is regularly home to events like the Ironman or Tough Mudder, concerts, sport events and festivals.
Free Parking
Eight parking lots with capacity for 500 cars (winter), disabled parking available close to Day Lodge and cross-country stadium/trails. Bus parking available (bus groups: please inform us in advance about your visit).

Dogs have to be on leash outside the Day Lodge and in the parking lots. Please respect the “pick up after your dog” policy. Dogs are not allowed on non-designated ski or snowshoe trails, on the toboggan hill, or in public buildings like the Day Lodge (except service dogs).
