Job Location: Whistler Sliding Centre

The Whistler Sliding Centre is home to the fastest ice track in the world. Since hosting the bobsleigh, skeleton and luge competitions during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Whistler Sliding Centre continues to challenge the sports’ most elite athletes with international competitions, recruiting camps, and ongoing youth programs. Visitors are invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility, or experience the action first-hand with passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and skeleton rides (winter only) down part of the 1,450 meter-long ice track.
The Head Coach, Skeleton will develop and coordinate recruitment, development and provincial programs for Whistler Sport Legacies (WSL) at the Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC). Report direct to the Managing Director, WSC and Vice President, Sport while liaising with the Supervisor, Sport Programming to coordinate sport program delivery. The primary program focus is to deliver on WSL, provincial, and national objectives as determined by the organization and other sport stakeholders.  This winter season full time role requires flexibility to assist the team with other activities or initiatives, including the requirement to be available evenings and weekends as required.

The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is a high performance training and accommodation facility for all levels of sport, educational groups, and art & culture organizations. Built for the athletes of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, competitors continue to utilize the Whistler Athletes’ Centre for short-and long-term lodging and dryland conditioning. As the headquarters for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, and the Whistler Campus for the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific, no other venue provides the level of accessibility and amenities for athletes like the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.
The Handyperson performs general preventative maintenance and repair duties for assigned buildings, furnishings, and equipment at Whistler Athletes’ Centre facilities.  Duties include painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and related work, in addition to responding to guest related issues.  This Regular Full Time position frequently works independently during evenings and some days, providing coverage for the Manager, Facilities.

The Finance Department is part of WSL’s administration team which works closely with all divisions to assist in delivering objectives set out in our Strategic Plan.  Among their many responsibilities, they assist to ensure the foundation of our organization is set up and operating in a legal, ethical, and efficient manner that is in alignment with our core values and our organizational governance. 
Administrative departments, such as Finance, play an important role for our venues - cooperation, trust, and communication are integral.  Teamwork and understanding are essential to this department as they assist to build mutual trust and respect internal and externally.
The Senior Accountant, under the leadership of the Managing Director, Finance performs day-to-day accounts receivable, collections, front-line revenue audits, and analytical reporting for Whistler Sport Legacies.   This temporary full time role is to cover a maternity leave for approximately one year and includes the flexibility to work weekends, statutory holidays, and evenings.

Built for the athletes of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, competitors continue to utilize the Whistler Athletes’ Centre for short-and long-term lodging and dryland conditioning. As the headquarters for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, and the Whistler Campus for the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific, no other venue provides the level of accessibility and amenities for athletes like the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.
The Lodge Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre including the Lodge, Townhomes and High Performance Centre. This role is organized and friendly and works well within a team while demonstrating the Whistler Sport Legacies’ philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  Casual, Temporary Part Time and Temporary Full Time roles require flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing a high level of guest service. Duties will include guest check-in/out, issue resolution, cash handling, daily reporting, general sales support and guest services on all aspects of the resort while maintaining the philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  Casual and Temporary Part Time roles require flexibility to assist the team with other activities or initiatives.
