Summer Activities at the Whistler Sliding Centre

Located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Sliding Centre is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility that regularly hosts the world's elite of sliding athletes for training and competition.

In summer, public can try 'Rolling Thunder', a summer bobsleigh experience on wheels, or join daily guided tours to learn about the Sliding Centre. Year round, self-guided Olympic Sightseeing is available with free access to the public areas of the venue and interpretive signage.

In the winter, public can try sliding sports in the sport experience programs "Thunder on Ice" for bobsleigh and "Lightning on Ice" for skeleton. Also youth sliding programs and development initiatives are held to recruit Canada's future Olympic Champions.
